This is definitely not your typical Refocusing Technology post but … I felt the need. My wife and I have been discussing Thanksgiving quite bit as we plan for the festivities. The biggest question that we ask each year is: “What are we Thankful for?”. In fact this year we’re trying to encourage our guests to reflect on that throughout the week.
Here’s a quote that my wife found:
If the only prayer you ever say in your whole life is “thank you,” that would suffice. ~ Meister Eckhart
So, what are you thankful for this year? Is it having a job in a tough economy? Getting that promotion? Business taking off? Child’s first Christmas program?
I’ll start by throwing out a couple of my thoughts… I’m thankful for:
~ Family around me
~ Daughter’s first Christmas program
~ Being able to have a business of my own
~ Having people who are willing to come and read what I have to say on Refocusing Technology (thank you!!)
~ All the Refocusing Technology guest bloggers (Bob Stanke, Noah Fielder, Evan Britton, Bonnie Harris, Bob McClain, Andrew Ng, Phyllis Zimbler Miller, Shaun Jamison)
~ And so many more things…
Please take a moment and tell us what you are thankful for this year…
