Link: Five-Minute Guide to Google Alerts

When you’re on Twitter there is a concept called “Re-Tweet”.  It is basically designed to share good information by copying and sending (with credit to originator) to your network.  I would say that this blog post is a “Re-Blog” except I’ll share the link.

I was going through my Google Reader and started reading the new posts that Geek Girls had and ran across this post.  It’s the five minute guide to Google Alerts.

Google Alerts is a great tool to keep you up-to-date on topics that interest you without you having to search all the time.  It simply notifies you when new content is available.  The Geek Girls did a great job of describing the toolset and how to use it.  Go take a look.
